Samay Raina made his first public appearance after the India's Got Latent controversy on Tuesday.

Samay Raina will be soon touring to Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

The last few months have proven to be quite testing for comedian Samay Raina. After the controversy surrounding his YouTube show, India’s Got Latent, Samay stayed away from the limelight. He made his first public appearance on Tuesday, and was immediately hounded by the media for a reaction to the controversy and the possible return of his show. India’s Got Latent was removed from YouTube after comments made by Samay and guest Ranveer Allahbadia offended the sensibilities of a section of the audience. Also caught in the crossfire was content creator Apoorva Mukhija.

Samay attended the premiere of the web series Hai Junoon in Mumbai. Dressed casually with headphones around his neck, Samay meet his fans and interacted with the photographers warmly. He also posed for selfies with a few fans. Samay Raina’s team was making sure that he is not asked any questions regarding his show.

When one of the photographers asked Samay Raina, “Bhai, show wapis kab aa raha hai? (Bro, when is the show coming back)”. He laughed and said, “Areey.” Before he could say anything more, a friend stepped in and pulled him away. Samay was seen flashing a smile as he walked away.

Samay Raina was also asked about the web series Hai Junoon, and he replied with a joke, “I haven’t watched the series. I had gone out for a workout in a gym. This is my friend, and I just came in with him. I have no idea what you are talking about.”

In the other news, Samay took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce his comeback International tour. He will be touring to Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. As per the schedule, Samay Raina’s tour will kick off in Koln on June 5 and wrap up in Sydney on July 20. Samay Raina posted on his Instagram story, “The most testing time of my life makes for the best comedy. I’ll see you on tour.” He added in an other post, “Thank you Europe, UK, Australia and New Zealand for such an overwhelming response. Super excited to be there.”

“Thank you so much for all the love. It has been the only thing that has kept me going. See you soon,” he added in another post.
