Prajakta Koli opens up on love story, meeting husband Vrishank Khanal when she was 18; netizens appreciate woman priest officiating ceremony: ‘Wholesome’

Both Prajakta and Vrishank got engaged in 2023, revealing how things didn’t go as planned during the proposal, Vrishank shared, “I was planning the proposal for a long time. We were on a camping trip to West Virginia with my sister and cousins based in the US. There’s a very scenic waterfall trail and I wanted to pop the question there. I tried to make it as discreet as possible.” Prajakta added how they ended up spending time in their cabin on the day Vrishank popped the big question and said, “But I had an intuition about it, so I had already got my nails done. It was chilled and cozy, and I actually wouldn’t have it any other way.”

The newlywed couple also opened up about their low-key wedding in Karjat and said, “We told our family and friends that they could show up in pajamas, for all we cared. We just wanted them to be well rested and enjoy.” Prajakta added, “I was away most of the time due to prior work commitments, so Vrishank handled a lot more than we had originally kept as our departments. He went for several recces and food tastings with our parents.”

Netizens also appreciated the fact that their wedding was officiated by a woman priest. Dressed in a saree, the priest was saying mantras as the couple said their vows.

Prajakta and Vrishank got married over two days of festivities in Karjat. For the wedding, Prajakta wore outfits from Anita Dongre. On the work front, Prajakta Koli is celebrated for her web series Mismatched, she goes by the name ‘Mostly Sane’ on social media and she recently launched her book too.
