The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power S2
Amazon Prime Video
With the Dark Lord’s ominous return, the new season is likely to be filled with darker secrets as Sauron rises to reclaim his power. Spilling the beans on Sauron’s return, co-creator Patrick Mckay shares, “We’re going to watch as he uses deception, manipulation, lies, coercion, and cunning to set the chess pieces in motion. This season is about reaching a deeper understanding of his modus operandi – and seeing it in action. Each of these societies and heroes that we set up in Season 1 reveals serious cracks in the foundations that Sauron can exploit.”
The series features Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Cordova, and Charlie Vickers, among others, in key roles. This adventurous action-drama now streams worldwide on Amazon Prime Video in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and others.
Polite Society
Netflix
Written and directed by Nida Manzoor, Polite Society is a thrilling mashup of sisterly bond, parental disappointment, and bold action. Set in the UK, the film follows martial artist-in-training Ria Khan (Priya Kansara), who believes she must save her older sister Lena (Ritu Arya) from her impending marriage. After enlisting the help of her friends, Ria attempts to pull off the most ambitious of all wedding heists in the name of independence and sisterhood. Manzoor merrily mixes all the genres that she loves; referencing all the movies she loves. “The film is filled with action scenes; heights; crazy over-the-top violence, fun, and comedy. It was a chance for me to mix all the films I grew up on—the Jackie Chan and Bollywood movies,” she says in a note.
Munjya
Disney+Hotstar

Now, the young man must fight to protect himself and his love from Munjya’s evil intentions. The film is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar while story and screenplay are by Yogesh Chandekar and Niren Bhatt, respectively. The cast features Sharvari, Abhay Verma, Sathyaraj and Mona Singh.
Murshid

Kay Kay Menon plays the role of Murshid Pathan, a retired don forced back into the criminal fray when his son is implicated in a deadly conspiracy.
