Nadaaniyan surpasses Adolescence; Great Indian Kapil Show ahead of Black Warrant: Criminal Justice, Ashram, Panchayat most watched shows in first half of 2025

Ormax Media recently shared the list of Top 50 streaming original in India in the first half of 2025. The list only includes original content on streaming platforms. Their viewership estimates are a measure of the number of individuals who watched at least one full episode of a show or at least 30 minutes of a film. These measures don’t reflect the number of OTT accounts used but the actual number of viewers. Every viewer is just counted once.

Making it to the top three are Pankaj Tripathi’s Criminal Justice, Bobby Deol’s Ek Badnaam Aashram Season 3 Part 2, and Jitendra Kumar’s Panchayat Season 4. According to the report, Criminal Justice on the Hotstar has garnered a viewership of 27.7 million. Meanwhile, Ek Badnaam Aashram is in the second place with 27.1 million viewership and Panchayat Season 4 on third with 23.8 million viewership.

The list is followed by Jaideep Ahlawat’s Paatal Lok on Amazon Prime Video with a viewership of 16.8 million. Korean show Squid Game season 3 is on the fifth spot with a viewership of 16.5 million views. The list goes The Legend of Hanuman S6 (16.2 mn), The Royals, (15.5 mn), The secret of the Shiledars (14.5 mn), Chidiya Udd (13.7 mn), and Jewel Thief (13.1 mn).
