Did Kim Soo Hyun use fake chat accounts to talk to Kim Sae Ron? GaroSero hits back with new photos and FaceTime records
Kim Soo Hyun denies dating Kim Sae Ron as a minor, but GaroSero drops alleged chats and photos. Kim Se Ui claims he used multiple accounts to hide evidence.

Kim Soo Hyun continues to face public scrutiny as GaroSero releases new evidence despite the actor’s firm denial that he dated Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor. On Thursday, Kim Soo Hyun’s legal team responded to five images released earlier by the YouTube channel, which alleged that he had been in a relationship with the late actor when she was underage. His team refuted the claims, stating that the pictures were from a time when they were dating as adults. However, just hours after those denials, GaroSero hit back with another set of alleged evidence. In a live broadcast on April 2, Kim Se Ui, a member of the YouTube channel, released new alleged chat logs between Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron.
Kim Se Ui revealed screenshots of alleged KakaoTalk messages between the two actors. One particular message, dated April 13, 2018, showed Sae Ron expressing frustration over their lack of communication. At 2:30 AM KST, she wrote, “Oppa, when you miss me and need me, you keep in touch with me without a problem, but when I need you, you’re always MIA. It bothers me that I can’t get in contact with you, and it’s inconvenient. If you don’t put in the effort, then I’m not seeing you anymore.” To prove his point, Kim Se Ui argued that this was not the kind of message casual acquaintances or colleagues would send to each other. He claimed it showed an emotional attachment—possibly a romantic one. (The reports and recordings mentioned in this article could not be independently verified by SCREEN.)

Did Kim Soo Hyun use multiple accounts to hide his chats?
Kim Se Ui then went on to make some wild claims about Kim Soo Hyun allegedly using multiple KakaoTalk accounts under different names to erase evidence of his chats with Kim Sae Ron. He speculated that the Dream High star created a new account to talk to Kim Sae Ron, exchanged messages for a while, deleted the account to erase traces and then repeated the process with a new account. One of the leaked screenshots allegedly shows Kim Soo Hyun’s name appearing as “unknown”, which, according to Kim Se Ui, supports the claim that he was trying to hide his conversations.
April 13, 2018: Kim Soo Hyun greeted Kim Sae Ron with her nickname “Pretty Nero, are you doing well?” In another chat from May 16, 2018, Kim Sae Ron jokingly warned him about not replying on time: “The day after tomorrow sounds good, but if I don’t hear from you tomorrow like I didn’t today, you’re dead.” Kim Soo Hyun responded with: “Was I… MIA again?”
One of the most debated alleged evidence is a photo of Kim Soo Hyun kissing Kim Sae Ron on the cheek. Kim Soo Hyun’s team claimed that the image was taken in 2019, when Kim Sae Ron was 20 years old. However, Kim Se Ui argued otherwise, claiming that Kim Sae Ron had previously mentioned that the picture was from 2016, when she was still a minor. Sarcastically questioning the age discrepancy, he stated: “Did she suddenly become a college student overnight? What major was she studying back then?”
Kim Se Ui also claimed to have records of Kim Sae Ron calling and FaceTiming Kim Soo Hyun multiple times in 2018, when she was still 17 years old. Warning beforehand, the YouTuber claimed to have five of Kim Sae Ron’s mobile phones, four of her laptops, and support from Korea’s top digital forensic experts. Kim Soo Hyun’s team has yet to provide a detailed rebuttal to the latest allegations. So far, the actor has denied any wrongdoing, but as Garosero promises to reveal more forensic-backed evidence, pressure is mounting.
