They Call Him OG trailer: After a significant delay and several postponements, the trailer for director Sujeeth’s They Call Him OG, starring actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, has arrived, leaving fans in a frenzy over its highly stylised and high-octane visuals. The 159-second promo video is packed with glimpses of the movie’s many action sequences, which extensively showcase Pawan Kalyan’s swagger.
Set in a bygone era, the trailer opens with intense gang wars resurfacing in Bombay (now Mumbai), and the city choking under their weight. As mafia boss Omi Bhau (Emraan Hashmi) reigns supreme, wiping out all in his path, fear grips the commoners of the city as well, since a saviour is nowhere in sight. The one who once existed has been away from the public eye for the past few years. Nonetheless, their prayers are finally answered, and he, Ojas Gambheera (Pawan), reenters the scene to settle some unfinished scores and free his people. As Ojas and Omi’s empires clash, the city is soaked in blood. But the ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar‘ (the one who wins is the king) battle can end only with the downfall of one.

The tightly edited trailer is designed to give audiences an adrenaline rush, featuring high-voltage, skillfully choreographed stunts. It also promises that They Call Him OG will be packed with equal parts of action, thrills, and drama. “After vanishing from Mumbai’s underworld for a decade, mob boss Ojas Gambheera resurfaces seeking vengeance against rival crime lords,” OG’s logline on IMDb reads.
Also starring Emraan Hashmi in his Telugu film debut, along with Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj in key roles, the movie boasts music by Thaman S, cinematography by Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa, editing by Navin Nooli, and production design by AS Prakash. OG will hit the screens on September 25.
OG is actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s second outing this year. It arrives months after the release of Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1, which ended up being a critical and commercial bomb.
