Thandel box office collection Day 2: Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's latest release Thandel is picking up steam at the box office. While the Chandoo Mondeti directorial earned Rs 11.5 crore on Day 1, the Day 2 collection was better as the movie earned Rs 12.64 crore, taking the total collection to Rs 24.14 crore. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Thandel earned Rs 11.3 crore in Telugu, Rs 12 lakh in Hindi, and Rs 8 lakh in Tamil on its opening day. The makers also announced that the film grossed Rs 21.27 crore worldwide on Friday. With this, the movie became Chaitanya’s career-best opening, surpassing the record set by his 2021 film Love Story, also starring Sai Pallavi. The romantic drama had grossed approximately Rs 10.50 crore on its first day. A Sacnilk report also revealed that Thandel registered the career-best pre-release theatrical business for Naga Chaitanya. On Saturday, Rana Daggubati congratulated Naga Chaitanya and Sia Pallavi on the success of Thandel. He took to his Instagram story to post, "My favourites killing it at the box office." Recently, Naga Chaitanya took to his Instagram handle to share a photo of his wife Sobhita Dhulipala as she flaunted her hoodie that had 'Thandel' written on it.
