Tamannaah Bhatia dismisses rumours of possessing world’s 5th-largest diamond gifted by Upasana Konidela: ‘It’s just a bottle opener’

Tamannaah Bhatia’s ability to bounce back and regain momentum after facing setbacks is commendable. With 18 years of experience in showbiz, she has demonstrated this resilience on numerous occasions. Despite receiving only mediocre to small-scale projects after her appearance in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), the actor made a significant comeback through the Hindi anthology film Lust Stories 2. Now, she is preparing for the much-awaited release of the Rajinikanth movie Jailer, after which she would be seen in the Chiranjeevi-starrer Bhola Shankar.

Back in 2019, she was paired opposite megastar Chiranjeevi in the 2019 historical action film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, produced by Ram Charan under the Konidela Production Company banner. After an elapsed time of nearly four years, a photo that was originally posted by Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela shortly after Sye Raa’s release, has once again become a viral sensation on social media. Notably, Tamannaah herself has added her comment to the picture.

The picture that Upasana shared on October 3, 2019, shows Tamannaah posing with a large ‘diamond’ ring adorning her fingers. “A gift for the super @tamannaahspeaks from Mrs Producer 😉❤️🥳. Missing u already. Catch up soon. #SyeraaNarashimaReddy,” Upasana noted while tweeting the picture.

However, the image resurfaced on social media recently with many claiming that this was the world’s fifth largest diamond worth Rs 2 crore that was gifted by Upasana Kamineni. Sharing the image to her Instagram story, Tamannaah said: “Hate to break it to you but we were doing a photoshoot with a bottle opener and not an actual diamond. #GirlsLikeToClickPics 😜”

According to IB Times, Tamannaah responded to the tweet, saying: “This bottle opener shall have many memories attached to it. Felt awesome to catch up after so long, waiting to see you soon, miss u more.” However, the specific comment is no longer visible on Twitter.
