Soujanya Bhagvatula wins Telugu Indian Idol 2; Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun graces finale

The second season of Telugu Indian Idol came to a conclusion on Sunday with Visakhapatnam’s Soujanya Bhagvatula lifting the trophy. She beat Sruthi from New Jersey, Jayaram from Hyderabad, Laasya Priya from Siddipet and Karthikeya from Hyderabad to become the winner of the show which streamed on Aha. Telugu actor Allu Arjun graced the finale of Telugu Indian Idol 2.

Talking about the win, Soujanya said, “Telugu Indian idol is the best platform an aspiring singer can ever get. I am very fortunate to be associated with this stage. I wholeheartedly thank Aha and Fremantle for giving me such huge opportunity and helping me establish my career in the music industry.”

Telugu Indian Idol Season 2 featured renowned composer SS Thaman, singers Geetha Madhuri and Karthik as judges. Commenced last year as the Telugu edition of the iconic Indian Idol, one of the longest-running successful reality shows in India, the Telugu Indian Idol received a warm welcome from audiences with 350+ million viewing minutes to its credit.
