Salaar singer Theertha Subhash leaves Yash fans wondering if KGF star has a cameo in Prabhas starrer

However, in a later chat with Asianet, Theertha clarified that she included Yash’s name by mistake and it was just a slip on her part. “I have seen the KGF movie many times. When the opportunity arose, my father said that Salaar’s music was done by the KGF team. So, in my mind, I assumed that Yash uncle would also be in Salaar. It was in that assumption, that I said his name,” she said.

Theertha’s parents added that she recorded the song of Salaar in Manglore, where the film’s director Prashanth Neel and composer Ravi Basrur were present. “She has watched KGF so many times. She included Yash’s name because of that,” her parents said.

Earlier, Prashanth Neel, in a chat with The Times of India, said that the two films were not in the same universe. “One has to understand that there is a certain amount of respect that you give big stars. So when I go to Prabhas sir, I cannot tell him that I am making another movie from the same franchise,” he said.
