Ram Charan on Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s production venture Subham: ‘We must encourage unique and refreshing films like this’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu‘s debut production venture Subham received a shoutout from her Rangasthalam co-star Ram Charan on Sunday evening. The Telugu horror-comedy, which released on May 9, has opened to positive reviews.

Ram Charan took to his X handle to praise the Kushi actor’s production venture. Sharing a poster of the film, he wrote, “Hearing great things about Subham from families! The trailer looks super fun, and I can’t wait to catch it with my family. We must encourage unique and refreshing films like this! Congratulations to my dearest Samantha on a fantastic start as a producer! Kudos to the team.”

Ram Charan’s praise soon caught the attention of Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who quickly replied to his post.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Samantha wrote, “Thank you dearest Ram Charan for always being kind and supportive. Your words truly mean a lot.”

According to the makers, Subham has earned Rs 5.25 crore in its opening weekend. The makers of the film also claimed that the horror comedy is also running successfully overseas. Subham has reportedly collected $125,000 at the worldwide box office. The movie is expected to earn more with the positive word of mouth.

Subham, directed by Praveen Kandregula, stars Harshit Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi, and Vamshidhar Goud among others. The film revolves around the lives of three eccentric couples whose ordinary routines devolve into supernatural chaos.
