Telugu actor Nani conducted his first-ever Ask Me Anything session on social media. On Wednesday, he informed his fans about ‘Ask Nani’ session as he wrote on Twitter, “Never did but never too late. #AskNani chedhama? :)” During the session, the actor responded to trolls who have been comparing his upcoming film Dasara to Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. He also reacted to a netizen who suggested his last few films were commercial failures.

A fan wrote to Nani on Twitter, “How Dasara is different from pushpa and Rangasthalam? And some north audience are ignoring Dasara thinking it is same as kgf. Please bust this myth.” The actor had a witty reply as he said Dasara cannot be compared to Pushpa just as Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator cannot be compared to Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. He tweeted, “Terminator and ddlj are not same coz both srk and Arnold wear a leather jacket ;) #AskNani.”

Nani’s last three releases, Ante Sundaraniki, Shyam Singha Roy and Tuck Jagadish, didn’t perform well at the ticket counters. When a Twitter user mentioned the same and wrote, “Your films are soo good but your films are not getting huge financial profits, any thoughts?”, Nani responded, “My producers are saying otherwise. Abt the financial profits :) Few times sharing them with me too ☺️”.

Set against the backdrop of a cola mining village, Dasara is centred around Nani‘s character Dharani, who seems to create a ruckus in the village whenever he gets drunk only to forget the nuisance he created once sober. Besides Nani, the Srikanth Odela directorial also stars Keerthy Suresh, Samuthirakani, Shine Tom Chacko, and Sai Kumar in key roles.

Dasara will hit theatres on March 30.
