Mirai Twitter Review: Following the blockbuster success of Hanu-Man, Telugu star Teja Sajja has made a massive comeback to the silver screen with yet another fantasy action-adventure, Mirai, helmed by Karthik Gattamneni. Touted as a spectacle that blends heavy visual effects and action sequences with an intriguing story, Mirai hit the screens on Friday morning. Since then, fans of Teja Sajja and moviegoers, in general, have taken to social media to share their reviews of the movie.

Going by social media posts, Mirai has managed to impress the audience with its visual quality and has succeeded in giving them the adrenaline rush they had hoped for. However, the writing and performances, particularly Teja Sajja’s, received criticism, with many pointing out that the story fails to hold their attention for long. Besides Teja, the film also stars Manoj Manchu, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jayaram, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles.

Describing the movie as a blend of ambition and spectacle, one user wrote on X (Twitter), “Passable first hour, but the interval is a goosebumps blast. 2nd half pure visual high Hari Gowra’s score electrifies, Karthik’s frames stun Teja Sajja after HanuMan back-to-back fire! (sic).” Listing the VFX and Manoj Manchu’s performance as positives, another Twitterati pointed out that the second half, Teja’s “artificial” performance, along with the comedy and love tracks, and the overall story, are its downsides.

“A visually spectacular entertainer that keeps you hooked for the most part… Special mention of the superb VFX and the emotional undercurrent… Definitely worth a watch,” industry analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, while giving the movie 3.5 stars. Meanwhile, another user opined, “Visual treat. Myth + modern fusion works big time. 🔥 Interval. 🔥 2nd half start. 🔥 Finale = Mass impact. #TejaSajja terrific. #ManojManchu strong. VFX top-notch. Comedy & cop track drag. Still, paisa-vasool big-screen ride.”

As of 11 am on Friday, Mirai has registered a nett collection of Rs 1.52 crore in India, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. While Mirai’s cinematography is handled by director Karthik Gattamneni himself, the film features editing by Sreekar Prasad and music by Gowra Hari. Bankrolled by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, Mirai is written jointly by Karthik and Manibabu Karanam.

Although rumours had earlier surfaced suggesting that Telugu star Prabhas made a cameo appearance in the movie, 123telugu.com reported that the Salaar actor only lent his voice for the prelude of Mirai.
