Mahesh Babu puts end to speculations; confirms Guntur Kaaram’s release date

Tentatively named SSMB28, Mahesh Babu unveiled the official title of the film as Guntur Kaaram on May 31, on the occasion of his father Krishna’s birth anniversary. Helmed by Trivikram Srinivas, with whom Mahesh Babu has previously worked in movies such as Athadu (2005) and Khaleja (2010), the film is bankrolled by S Radha Krishna under the banner of Haarika & Hassine Creations. It also stars Pooja Hegde, Sreeleela, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, Sunil, Ramya Krishna, and Prakash Raj.

One of the biggest stars in Telugu cinema, Mahesh Babu has consistently displayed his openness on social media, sharing snapshots of his family moments with his fans. Whether it’s their joint getaways or private gatherings, Mahesh has been forthcoming in sharing these facets of his life with netizens.

However, at the recent press conference, a reporter enquired about the frequency of the actor’s vacations. Despite appearing somewhat displeased by the question, the Sarkaru Vaari Paata star maintained his composure. He responded with a counter-question to the media person: “Do you find them appealing or is there a tinge of envy?”

“I take vacations regularly and often share them on Instagram for everyone to see. I’m aware of the observations. Whenever there’s a break between shooting schedules or when my children have time off from school, we embark on brief trips as a family. I believe that people derive pleasure from my photos. I can’t be certain if any jealousy is involved. Nevertheless, if I opt for a vacation, I don’t see any reason why others shouldn’t appreciate it,” he added.
