Kuberaa box office collection day 6: Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna's film minted Rs 4.02 crore in India on Wednesday, bringing its total domestic collection to Rs 65.28 crore.

Despite a steady decline in its domestic box office performance, the Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Kuberaa has managed to cross the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide within six days of hitting theatres. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Kuberaa minted Rs 4.02 crore in India on Wednesday, bringing its total domestic collection to Rs 65.28 crore.
Kuberaa Occupancy
Though the film, which hit theatres on June 20, was released in multiple languages — including Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil — its major market remains the Telugu-speaking region. Out of the Rs 4.02 crore earned on Wednesday, Rs 2.92 crore came from the Telugu version, Rs 93 lakh from the Tamil version, and Rs 18 lakh from the Hindi version. Kuberaa had an overall 22.52% Telugu occupancy, 13.65% Tamil occupancy and 8.82% Hindi occupancy on Wednesday.
Competition with Sitaare Zameen Par
Kuberaa has been facing stiff competition from Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par, especially in the Hindi belt, as both films were released on the same day. Sitaare Zameen Par has raked in Rs 79.58 crore in India within six days of release, surpassing Kuberaa’s Rs 65.28 crore domestic total.
Kuberaa Worldwide Collection
On Wednesday, Kuberaa’s makers announced that the film had entered the Rs 100 crore club. The post read, “Wealth. Wisdom. And now… ₹100+CR worth of WAVE. Kuberaa rules with a grand century at the box office.” The tagline on the poster read, “Unanimous mega blockbuster 100+ crore worldwide gross estimate.”

Kuberaa’s Box Office Journey
Directed by Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa stars Dhanush as a beggar whose life changes after a chance encounter with a CBI officer, played by Nagarjuna. However, his world is shaken again when he meets a corrupt businessman, portrayed by Jim Sarbh, leading him to take a path of rebellion.
The film released in theatres last Friday, opening with Rs 14.75 crore. It witnessed a slight uptick in collections over the weekend, earning Rs 16.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 17.35 crore on Sunday. However, since then, the box office numbers have seen a downward trend. On Monday, the film’s earnings dropped by 60 percent, bringing in Rs 6.8 crore, followed by Rs 5.85 crore on Tuesday and Rs 4.02 crore on Wednesday.
