Kalki 2898 AD: Prabhas does a Diljit Dosanjh in Bhairava Anthem, fans say ‘Punjabi aagaye oye’. Watch

On June 17, the video for “Bhairava Anthem” for all languages was released by the makers at 2 pm. In the video, Prabhas can be seen in action mode while Diljit can be seen grooving to his song, setting the stage on fire with his powerful vocal. Co-sang by Vijaynarain, the song also shows the Punjabi side of the Baahubali star at the end.

Fans loved the “Bhairava Anthem” and took to the comments section of the song to express their admiration. A user wrote, “What a combination Prabhas + Diljit”, another user wrote, “Blockbuster song of the year”. Other comments read, “Prabhas and Diljit total tabahi song”, “Praboss + Diljit goosebumps”, and “unexpected collaboration,” among others. Another used Diljit’s famous words ‘Punjabi aagaye oye’ to mark his entry in the Kalki universe.

While the song is already garnering attention from fans for its Punjabi tadka in all languages, Diljit Dosanjh also treated fans with a BTS video from the sets of Kalki 2898 AD. In the now-viral video, both Diljit and Prabhas, twinning in black outfits, can be seen vibing together and then hugging. Sharing the video, Diljit wrote, “Bhairva Anthem Coming Soon. PANJAB X SOUTH
Panjabi Aa Gaye OYE.. Darling Prabhas.”

Kalki 2898 AD was in the making for almost five years. It was previously scheduled to hit the theatres in May, but witnessed a delay due to the ongoing General Elections 2024. The film, reportedly made on a budget of Rs 600 crore, will release in multiple languages on June 27.
