Kaala Bhairava apologises as he misses out on thanking Ram Charan and NTR Jr for success of ‘Naatu Naatu’: ‘I sincerely apologise for my choice of words’
Kaala Bhairava shared a gratitude note for everyone who contributed towards the success of the RRR song 'Naatu Naatu'. But people on Twitter expressed their anger as he missed out on including the names of RRR lead actors, Jr NTR and Ram Charan.

Singer Kaala Bhairava, who crooned the Oscar-winning RRR song “Naatu Naatu”, took to social media on Thursday to share a gratitude note for everyone who contributed towards the success of the song. But people on Twitter expressed their anger as he missed out on including the names of RRR lead actors, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, in his thank you note. Hence, the singer once again took to Twitter and apologised for his ‘choice of words’.
On Thursday, Kaala Bhairava had shared a note with the caption, “Something I wanted to share with you all..”. His note read, “I want to share something with you all. I feel extremely grateful for having had the invaluable opportunity of representing team RRR and performing at the Oscars for the best original song category. On that note, I want to share with you that it’s only because of a few people who directly or indirectly, but ‘completely’ are the reason for me getting this priceless opportunity which I personally feel is far beyond how much I actually deserve!”
He added, “@ssrajamouli Baba, Naanna, @premrakshith_choreographer Master, @sskarthikeya Anna, Amma, and Peddhamma. It’s because of their hard work and workmanship that the song has reached all parts of the world and is making people dance globally and that’s how I got this chance. Also, regarding the glorious run in USA – Dylan, Josh and the whole team with their persistent efforts and dedication, made this possible.”

The singer concluded by saying that he is happy about being a part of Team RRR. He wrote, “I can and never will forget the fact that I wouldn’t have had a chance to have this beautiful experience if not for them. I’m just lucky for being given a share of credit in this because in reality, the merit is theirs. Blessed to be even the tiniest part of Team RRR!”
As people took notice of his post, they called him out for not expressing gratitude to Ram Charan and Jr NTR. One of them commented on his tweet, “So basically NTR and Charan didn’t add any value according to you?” Another added, “where is the Credit sharing to Chandrabose garu, Charan and Tarak ?” One user also wrote, “It is sad to see that no one is caring to thank Tarak and Charan. Without their performance and magnetic presence on the screen, it wouldn’t have gotten so much attention.”
I have no doubt Tarak anna and Charan anna are the reason for the success of naatu naatu and RRR itself.

Kaala Bhairava reacted to the backlash and tweeted an apology that read, “I have no doubt Tarak anna and Charan anna are the reason for the success of naatu naatu and RRR itself. I was ONLY talking about who all helped me get my opportunity for the academy stage performance. Nothing else. I can see that it was conveyed wrongly and for that, I sincerely apologise for my choice of words.”
RRR’s “Naatu Naatu” created history by becoming the first Indian song to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song. The award was received by the song’s composer MM Keeravaani and lyricist Chandrabose.
