Naatu Naatu’s win at the 95th Academy Awards has left the country cheering for music composer MM Keeravaani and lyricist Chandrabose. Soon after the win, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, the stars of the film expressed their joy at winning the Oscar award. Jr NTR  told Entertainment Tonight that this was “not just our win, it’s the whole country’s win.” He told Variety that it was a “very emotional moment.”

Tarak shared that he was quite emotional as Naatu Naatu won the award. He also appreciated the live performance of the dance number and said, “These guys were amazing. All the moves were basically all Indian but the way they pulled it off, it was amazing,” he said. The performance received a standing ovation inside the Dolby Theatre.

Tarak also shared a social media post where he posed with the Oscar statuette. He wrote in the caption, “And we did it… #Oscars95 #NaatuNaatu #RRRMovie. Congratulations @mmkeeravaani Sir ji, Jakkanna @ssrajamouli, @boselyricist garu, the entire team and the nation 🇮🇳”.

Ram Charan wrote a long note thanking the team of RRR. He shared in the caption, “We have won!! We have won as Indian Cinema!! We won as a country!! The Oscar Award is coming home! It feels amazing. It’s not just our win, it’s the whole country’s win.” Ram Charan thanked SS Rajamouli, MM Keeravani, Chandrabose, Rahul Sipligunj, Kaala Bhairava, Prem Rakshith along with his co-stars Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt.

A part of his note read, “I can’t thank everyone enough for manifesting the Oscar Award. It still feels like I am living in a dream.” He concluded, “This award belongs to every Indian actor, technician and film goer. My heartfelt thanks to all the fans across the world for all the love and support. This is our country’s win!”
