HIT: The Third Case has finally hit the theatres, and Nani’s fans wasted no time in sharing their thoughts on social media. Early reactions suggest a divided verdict, but one thing remains unanimous: Nani’s performance is being celebrated across the board.

A fan on X summed up the actor’s versatility by writing, “Nani can do any role.” Another user praised the film by declaring it, “a film that completely belongs to Nani.” Compliments kept pouring in for the actor’s portrayal of Arjun Sarkar, with one post reading, “Nani never disappoints. His characterisation has worked big time.”

Another user declared it “Nani’s career-best acting, with writing at its peak. Best title card in recent times for a Telugu actor.” One viewer added, “Nani has completely stolen the show with his swag and performance.” The same user praised the film’s structure, calling it a “neat, action-packed thriller with theatrical extravaganza,” while also complimenting the “gripping” screenplay and background score.

However, reactions weren’t universally glowing. Some users noted that the film doesn’t quite live up to the hype, particularly criticizing the investigation arc. One review read, “Nani did a great job, the final act was intense, and the story idea was good. But the investigation felt routine, emotions were weak, and BGM was flat. Verdict: A decent thriller with some strong moments. Rating: 2.5/5.”

Another user was more scathing in their criticism, tweeting, “#Hit3 is an average movie with good cinematography and acting from Nani. It has borrowed a lot of things, didn’t find anything unique or thrilling to be honest. Last 20 mins were the best portions; the rest had bad screenplay. Garbage love track. Barely any ounce of investigative thriller genre.”

The pacing of the film was another point of debate. While several users found the first half underwhelming, many agreed that the second half, especially the final act, delivered the intensity and momentum expected from the franchise.

Despite the criticism, HIT: The Third Case has also been praised for its surprise cameos, which many fans described as a “great surprise.” The film, clashing with Suriya’s Retro at the box office, features Nani in a dark, gritty avatar as Arjun Sarkar, a cop driven by justice and personal demons. The story unfolds across layered backdrops and high-stakes action, with Srinidhi Shetty starring opposite Nani as the romantic lead.

Backed by Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Production, the film continues to generate conversation online, if not consensus.
