Fahadh Faasil wraps up key schedule of Pushpa: The Rule, see photo
Fahadh Faasil plays the role of SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, an egoistic cop, in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rule.

Pushpa: The Rule is one of the awaited Telugu films, and it is getting ready at a rapid pace. Only recently it was revealed that Allu Arjun wrapped up a schedule of Pushpa 2, and now, Sukumar and team have finished another key schedule with Malayalam star Fahadh Fassil, who plays the role of SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in the film. Mytri Movie Makers, the production house of the film, on Thursday took to Twitter to share a picture from the sets of the film.
In the photo, Fahadh and Sukumar are seen watching the monitor after a shot, and the actor is back to his menacing look of Bhanwar. “A key schedule of #Pushpa2TheRule completed with ‘Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat’ aka #FahadhFaasil. This time he will return with vengeance,” the tweet read.

Earlier, it was rumoured that Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi will be joining the team and will play another antagonist, but the reports were deemed untrue. Yet, there are still speculations that the film will feature an antagonist other than Fahadh’s Bhanwat.
Pushpa: The Rise, a story about the rise of a daily labourer in the underworld of redwood smuggling, was well-received across the country due to its rooted storytelling and regional flavour. The first part collected about Rs 350 crore and is among the top-ten highest grossers in Telugu cinema.
Other than Fahadh Faasil and Allu Arjun, the film also has Rashmika Mandanna, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in prominent roles. Pushpa: The Rule is expected to be released by the end of 2023.
