Devil teaser: Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is a formidable British secret agent in his next film

Telugu actor Nandamuri Kalyan Ram turned 45 on Wednesday, and to mark the special occasion, the makers of his upcoming film Devil released a teaser. Kalyan Ram plays a formidable British secret agent in the film, who is tasked to unravel a mystery. After Bimbisara, one of the biggest hits of Telugu cinema last year, Kalyan Ram is onto another interesting venture with the upcoming film.

Directed by Naveen Medaram, Devil is a period drama, which is set in the pre-independence era. The set design and the making of the film reveal that a lot of money has been put into Devil. The first look poster of the film was unveiled in 2021, but it has taken a while for the makers to come up with the teaser. However, the quality of the teaser justifies the delay.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is a secret agent, whose code name is Devil. He is a mysterious entity who is suave and menacing. The tagline of the film reads, ‘The British Secret Agent”. Though the story of the film is not revealed through the teaser, it can be gathered that the plot is set in Madras Province, where Devil has to unravel a big conspiracy.

Samyuktha Menon, who was last seen in Virupaksha, is playing the female in the film, and she is just seen for a moment in the teaser.

Devansh Nama and Abhishek Nama are bankrolling Devil under the banner of Abhishek Pictures. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada languages.
