Daaku Maharaj teaser: The film marks the maiden collaboration of Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Bobby Kolli.

The onscreen image of Nandamuri Balakrishna allows filmmakers to go all out with the elevation of the protagonist. It allows filmmakers to conjure up a world where the most powerful of villains meet their match in a one-man army. Director Bobby Kolli, who previously helmed the Chiranjeevi-starrer Waltair Veerayya, took on the responsibility of making a convincing masala entertainer with Balakrishna. Tentatively titled NBK 109, it has now been revealed that the film will be called Daaku Maharaj.
The makers shared a title teaser that set the tone for the expectations around the much-awaited film. The teaser begins with a voiceover that gently shares that Daaku Maharaj isn’t a story about gods but demons who rule darkness, and there is one entity that even these demons should fear. And no prizes for guessing who that entity is, who can even send shivers down death’s spine. Entering the screen on a galloping horse, and slashing and kicking his way through the assembly line of henchmen, we see Balakrishna announcing to the world that he is called… Daaku Maharaj.
