Actor Ankita Lokhande was last seen on Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 17. With her journey, the TV star won a lot of hearts, but what became a highlight of the show was her personal life. Especially, the constant fights with her husband Vicky Jain became a topic of discussion. Sailing through all this turbulence, Ankita exited Bigg Boss Season 17 in the fourth position. Recently, the actor had a quick chat with Indianexpress.com where she shared her definition of love. Ankita also revealed how she believed in old-school romance and which filmy love story she could relate to the most.

On Valentine’s Day, Ankita shared what love means to her and said, “I cannot exist without love, it is the most important thing for me. I crave love in every form. Even when I am possessive, it is my way of showing love. For me, love is the highest form of vibration in the universe.”

When asked in this age of dating apps, does she believe in old-school romance, the Bigg Boss 17 contestant affirmed, “I believe in old school romance. I feel that was better where you could understand your partner without even saying much. My grandmother still has love letters written by my nana, and they are so beautiful. Those love stories had their charm, but love in all forms is beautiful, even modern-day romance is great. When our kids grow old, they will like the love stories we had.”

Talking about a lesson she has learned about relationships, the actor said, “You should be giving in a relationship, and you should not be over-emotional about everything. I became over-emotional on Bigg Boss 17. I became very sensitive there, and every little thing affected me. You should just let go of a few things so that it is easy for you as well as your partner.”

Lastly, Ankita Lokhande was asked if there was a film love story she related to the most. She said, “I like Jab We Met. I was just like Kareena Kapoor’s character before, but love makes you sad, and then it makes you feel good also.”

On the work front, Ankita will be seen next alongside Randeep Hooda in Swatantra Veer Savarkar. The actor has also been reading some film scripts.
