The Great Indian Kapil Show to be renewed for Season 2, Kapil Sharma says, ‘Won’t keep audience waiting’

The finale episode of Season 1 will be released on June 22 and will feature Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan as the guest.

Earlier, in the middle of the first season, reports of The Great Indian Kapil Show suffering from low viewership surfaced. The show’s cast, however, hit back at these rumours, confirming that their contract with Netflix is getting over for Season 1 but they will return with a new season.

Kiku Sharda, who is a part of the show, had told News18, “We have done 13 episodes and the second season will come out soon. We have just wrapped up the first season. It was always meant to be like this. We have already planned the next season and it will come out soon. There won’t be a very huge gap.”
