Splitsvilla 15 winners Jashwanth Bopanna-Akriti Negi take home trophy, Rs 5 lakh; Kashish Kapoor wins Rs 10 lakh after betraying partner sted show

While Jashwanth-Akriti and Harsh-Rushali chose to race for the title, Kashish Kapoor betrayed her partner Digvijay Singh Rathee and opted to take home Rs 10 lakhs from the prize money. With this Digvijay’s journey on the show also ended coming so close to the finish line, and seeing him face this kind of ‘betrayal’ left host Sunny Leone also quite emotional. Following a strenuous finale task, Jashwanth and Akriti finally emerged as winners of Splitsvilla 15.

Talking about her win Akriti said in a statement, “I can’t describe my happiness! This journey was a rollercoaster of emotions. Winning MTV Splitsvilla X5 with my partner, Jashwanth is extremely special for me. It was truly challenging against such strong contenders but we stuck together through it all – the winning title is more important to us than any other distractions that came in between, and we’ve proved it!”

Jashwanth also added, “Winning the title of India’s OG dating reality show is an extremely proud moment for me. Especially when I was so close to claiming the title in both my previous reality shows. But this proves hard work never goes unnoticed. I am beyond thrilled to conquer the winning title of MTV Splitsvilla X5 with my true connection, Akriti. We climbed up the ranks against 30 strong contestants and we silenced all those who criticized us.”

This season of Splitsvilla was one of the most controversial ones as it brought ex-flames of many contestants on the show, stirring up drama. Secondly, many contestants this season made headlines for their fights on Instagram live, and even for hiding their relationships in real life. Amongst the contestants, Arbaaz Shaikh is now seen on Bigg Boss Marathi Season 5. Digvijay, Kashish, and Siwet Tomar are also rumored to have been approached for Bigg Boss 18.
