Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradyuman has returned to CID after his brief exit from the show. However, it seems he has lost his memory.

Shivaji Satam’s iconic character ACP Pradyuman has returned to the show CID 2 after a brief exit from the show. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, OTT platform Netflix shared a promo announcing ACP Pradyuman’s return in CID 2. However, in a surprising twist, it appears that ACP Pradyuman has lost his memory, as he fails to recognise team member Daya and even tries to attack him.

The video opens with Inspector Daya (played by Dayanand Shetty) looking shocked as someone points a gun at the back of his head. When he turns around and realises it’s his boss, ACP Pradyuman, he tries to talk to him. But the ACP warns him not to move, threatening to shoot. As Daya attempts to remind him that they used to work together, Pradyuman responds, “CID? So you’re a cop? I have an old score to settle with the police.” He then fires multiple shots at Daya, missing each time.

In the continuation of the clip, a teary-eyed Daya informs Inspector Abhijeet aka Aditya Srivastava that ACP Pradyuman is alive. Along with the video, the caption read, “Iska matlab samjhe Daya? ACP Pradyuman zinda hai. Dekhiye CID ke naye episodes har Shanivaar aur Ravivaar raat 10 baje, Netflix par bhi.#CIDonNetflix.”

Several fans reacted to the post in the comments section, expressing their excitement for the upcoming episodes. “ACP Pradyuman, the legend is back. Good news,” a fan wrote. Another person commented, “CID trying to remake Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in Hindi with ACP as Phil Coulson.” “GOAT is back, now CID is CID, without him, it’s nothing,” a comment read.

Actor Parth Samthaan recently joined CID 2 as ACP Ayushmann, stepping in for ACP Pradyuman. However, he confirmed his exit from the show a few weeks ago, citing other work commitments. He also clarified that his role was initially meant to be a guest appearance but ended up being extended.
