Shark Tank India: Aman Gupta reminds Kunal Bahl it’s his ‘first time on the show’; latter retorts, ‘I’ve done far more deals than you’
Shark Tank India Season 4’s latest teaser shows the judges not only grilling entrepreneurs but also engaging in heated exchanges with one another.

Shark Tank India, the beloved business reality television series, is returning for its highly anticipated fourth season. A new promo released by the makers suggests that this season will be even more intense than the previous ones. The teaser shows the ‘sharks’ not only grilling entrepreneurs but also engaging in heated exchanges with one another.
The video kicks off with Kunal Bahl, CEO of Snapdeal and the newest ‘shark’, negotiating with a company called The Naturik Co. Surprisingly, Bahl agrees to the contestants’ request for Rs 4 crore, impressing boAt Lifestyle co-founder and CMO Aman Gupta. At the same time, Anupam Mittal, CEO of People Group and Shaadi.com, also matches the demand. “This season, the sharks are hungrier than ever,” the promo teases.
As the video progresses, we see Lenskart CEO Peyush Bansal and Emcure Pharmaceuticals’ executive director Namita Thapar making offers to other contestants. At the same time, it also becomes clear that Bahl and Mittal are poised to compete fiercely for the best investments. Bahl can also be seen critiquing the concept of royalty, calling it a tool used to exploit entrepreneurs, while stressing that investments don’t involve such complications. Meanwhile, Thapar takes a jab at the “new shark”.
Moving forward, we see the ‘sharks’ fighting it out among themselves, with Bahl and Gupta even entering an argument. “You can’t go into this individually,” Gupta tells Bahl, to which Bahl responds, “I know how to make deals.” When Gupta remarks, “It’s your first time on Shark Tank, right?” Bahl retorts, “But I’ve done many deals, far more than you.”

The promo concludes with Anupam Mittal telling a contestant that encouragement alone isn’t enough to build a successful business. In the final shot, Mittal holds up a cheque in front of a company, asking, “Shall I tear it away then?” as they decide whether to accept or decline his offer.
