Shark Tank India, which is currently streaming its Season 4 on SonyLIV recently, saw a husband-wife team from Jaipur who pitched their silver jewellery brand, Shyle. The pitch started smoothly as Aastha and Radesh showcased their beautiful designs and asked for Rs 70 lakh in exchange of 1 percent equity of their business. 'Shark' Vineeta Singh, however, was not convinced with the way the business is being run and pointed out that there was a 'jhol' given the founders were showing their own salary in the balance sheet. Anupam Mittal also agreed with her and said he had doubts over their honesty. Aastha and Radesh, who have been married for nine years, started their business in 2017 and have since built a company that sells jewellery in 17 categories. Radesh said that they started the business with an initial investment of Rs 7 lakh and have never secured any funding from outside for fear that they might burn it all. As the negotiations went on, Vineeta started questioning them about the division of salary and was quite shocked to know that the company is still a proprietorship under Astha's name, while Radesh takes salary of Rs 1.5 lakh as a consultant as it favours them while filing taxes. She called out his "jhol" and was unhappy with their customer retention rate. While Namita Thapar and Ritesh Agarwal gave them Rs 70 lakh for 1.5 percent stake in the company with an additional royalty of 1 percent until the initial investment is earned back, Anupam offered them Rs 1.4 crore for 5 percent of the business. During the negotiation, Anupam overheard Radesh saying "baad mein dekh lenge (we'll see later)" though the pitchers claimed that he misheard them. This statement made Anupam and Vineeta furious, and he declared this as "absolutely unacceptable." The judges have previously said that there are many business owners who appear on the show just for marketing and back out of the deal later. They eventually closed the deal with Namita and Ritesh with a minor change in the royalty component of the deal. As the pitchers got out of the tank, they said that they were anyway not interested in Anupam's deal and were not interested in presenting him a counter offer.
