Shark Tank India 3: Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta get angry at pitchers with zero bank balance and no sales, ask, ‘Where is the business?’

In the latest promo of Shark Tank India, Vineeta Singh was 'baffled' with the confident pitchers who didn't have any bank balance.

SonyLIV’s reality show Shark Tank India 3‘s latest promo shows confident co-owners of a sustainable clothing brand making their pitch to the ‘sharks’. However, when one of the judges questions them about the bank balance, co-owners of the brand say it’s “zero”, leaving the judges of the show, Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, and Anupam Mittal shocked.

Owners of Aastey, a sustainable athleisure wear company make their pitch to Vineeta, Aman, and the other ‘sharks’. They start on a jovial note as they ask the judges about their clothing size. They claimed that their company Aastey is “India’s first and only sustainable athleisure company.” Peyush Bansal asks them what is their growth plan in a competitive market. To this, the pitchers say that now that they have come on the show, they plan to make it a Rs 100 cr brand.

However, when asked what their bank balance is, the judges were shocked to know that it’s zero. Aman Gupta said, “Aap keh rahe hai ki Rs 1.50 lakh ki sale ho rahi hai, paise zero hai. To hum invest kisme kar rahe hai. Business kaha hai? Maal bhi bikk nahi raha (You are telling us that Rs 1.50 lakh’s sale is happening, money is zero. So, where will we invest, where is the business? Your products are also not selling)”.

Vineeta added, “Ye jo financial indiscipline aapne dikhaya hai, that is baffling me (The financial indiscipline that you have shown is baffling me)”.

The latest season of Shark Tank India features six new sharks. The makers announced the same and wrote on X, “In this new season, the stakes are higher, with 12 SHARKS in the TANK! Introducing Ritesh Agarwal, Varun Dua, Deepinder Goyal, Azhar Iqubal, Radhika Gupta, and Ronnie Screwvala as the 6 new Sharks of Shark Tank India Season 3.”
