During a recent pitch, an entreprenuer jokingly called Aman Gupta 'saunf', he even refered to Anupam Mittal as 'Tony Stark' leaving the other Sharks laughing out loud.

Shark Tank India 3 has been receiving a great response from the viewers, with many interesting pitches coming on the platform. One such recent pitch was from a confectionary brand where two brothers from Bengaluru brought their chewing gum, showcasing its health benefits. Their ask was for Rs 5o lakhs for 5 percent equity. While the pitch and the product left the Sharks impressed, they had raised some valid questions.
Aman Gupta, who especially seemed interested in the pitch, raised concerns about the packaging of the product, Anupam Mittal on the other hand lauded them for a feature they curated with the chewing gum. Aman finally decided to give an offer of Rs 50 lakhs for 5 percent equity plus 5 percent royalty on the net sales until the money is recouped. While other Sharks – Ritesh Agarwal, Vineeta Singh, and Anupam Mittal — jumped in with their offers too, the pitcher jokingly told Aman Gupta how he looked like saunf (fennel) referring to the green colored suit he was wearing.

The other Sharks had a hearty laugh over it, while Namita Thapar commented, ‘itni mehengi saunf (such expensive fenel), Anupam also joined Aman in his offer along with Ritesh. The revised offer was Rs 50 lakhs for 10 percent equity plus 5 percent royalty on the net sales until the money is recouped. Aman even offered to be a real-time taster for them. Vineeta, on the other hand, gave an individual offer of Rs 50 lakhs for 5 percent equity plus 5 percent royalty on the net sales until the money is recouped.
Following this, the pitchers asked Anupam Mittal to guide them about accepting the demand for royalty and he was applauded by Vineeta for asking this question. Finally, the pitchers were offered a final offer with four of them together. It was Rs 80 lakhs for 10 percent equity and 4 percent royalty, and the deal was closed.
While Aman walked towards them with a cheque, the pitcher again joked saying, ‘saunf udke aa rahi hai’.
