Shark Tank India 3: After praising their product, Vineeta Singh calls business model of pitchers ‘senseless’ as they fail to generate profit despite Rs 4.4 crore sales
The promo of the upcoming episode of Shark Tank India 3 had the owners of Artinci, a brand selling sugar-free desserts, pitching their products to 'sharks'.

In the upcoming episode of Shark Tank India 3, the ‘sharks’ were stunned to know that the founders of a food products company, which caters to people who are diabetic, are running their business on huge losses. Vineeta Singh, who liked the products of the company, found their business strategy “senseless”.
The promo of the upcoming episode of the reality show, shared by SonyLIV on X, had the owners of Artinci, a brand selling sugar-free desserts, pitching their products to ‘sharks’ Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Peyush Bansal and Vineeta. They shared they started the brand to cater to the dessert craving of their family, which has been suffering from diabetes for the last three generations. As the investors tasted the desserts made under the brand Artinci, they liked the taste.
After eating the coconut ice cream, Vineeta exclaimed, “Bohot yum hai (This is very tasty)”. Namita added, “Generally, sugar-free products have an after taste, but this tastes like this has got sugar.” She asked one of the founders of the company about their sales and he shared, “Last year, we did Rs 4.4 crore.”
Sumit Rastogi’s #Artinci may have irresistible sweet indulgences. 😍😋🍧

Anupam asked him about the profit they earned and his response left all of them shocked. “There was no profit, there was a loss of Rs 5 crore.” Peyush was intrigued to know how were they incurring losses despite doing sales of Rs 4.4 crore. The founder explained, “We expanded too quickly.” Hearing this, Vineeta suggested, “You were selling on unit-level loss and this is senseless.”
Now, if the Artinci founders got funding from the ‘sharks’, will be known when the episode will be streamed on SonyLIV. The latest season features six new sharks, including Ritesh Agarwal, Varun Dua, Deepinder Goyal, Azhar Iqubal, Radhika Gupta, and Ronnie Screwvala.
