Salman Khan didn’t want to shoot for Bigg Boss 18 amid death threats: ‘Mujhe yahan par aana hi nahi tha’
Salman Khan, who has been constantly receiving death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, shot for Bigg Boss 18's Weekend Ka Vaar with heightened security.

The last few weeks have been quite exhausting for Salman Khan. What added to this stress was the death of his good friend, politician Baba Siddique, who was murdered by notorious criminal Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang last week. Salman too has been receiving death threats and ransom demands, purportedly from the same gang, and has been constantly in danger for a few months now. Amidst this scare, the superstar recently shot for Bigg Boss 18‘s Weekend Ka Vaar with high security around. And as per a latest promo, Salman was seen revealing on stage that he didn’t feel like being on the set, but had to fulfill his work commitment.
In one of the promo videos, Salman is seen talking with actor Shilpa Shirodkar, who has been very upset with Avinash Mishra’s misbehaviour. In revolt, she even quit eating food on the show. Talking to Salman, Shilpa begins to cry, and explaining to her, Salman says, “I hate tears Shilpa. When your daughter takes out her anger on food, what will you tell her?” Shilpa responded that her anger was not on the food but on Avinash’s attitude. Salman further adds, “Then, take out your anger on that attitude, don’t have a bond with any feelings in this house. Like today, I have a feeling that mujhe aaj yahan par aana hi nahi tha (I didn’t want to be here today). But a man has got to do what he has to.” Later, Salman also slammed Arfeen Khan for his behavior on the show and questioned his professional stance.

This weekend, it was reported that security on the Bigg Boss 18 set had been heightened with Salman staying in his chalet ahead of the Friday shoot. More than 60 security personnel were stationed outside the shoot location and no outsider was permitted with an Aadhar card verification. Even the show’s crew was instructed to be on the sets until the filming of both episodes was completed.
On Thursday, another threat was made for Salman Khan asking for Rs 5 crore to end enmity with the Bishnoi gang. It also stated that if the demand was not met, his condition would be worse than that of Baba Siddique. However, it was later revealed that the message was a hoax. A few months back, there was a firing incident that happened at Salman Khan’s house too.
