Radikaa to host Kaun Banega Crorepati’s Tamil version

The audience has identified Radikaa with Sun TV for the past 25 years, and this is the first time she is collaborating with another Tamil channel for a game show.

Radikaa Sarathkumar will soon be seen hosting KBC’s Tamil version.

Actor-producer Radikaa Sarathkumar will host Kodeeswari, the Tamil version of Kaun Banega Crorepati, and she is the first woman to host the KBC franchise on television, which will premiere on Colours Tamil. According to sources, this is an all-women edition.

Ravish Kumar, head of regional entertainment, Viacom 18 says, “Kodeeswari will be a tribute to the unconditional love and selfless sacrifice made by millions of women every day and everywhere. It is a show that believes in giving back, in resurrecting modest ambitions, in allowing dreams to come true.”

Radikaa, the host of Kodeeswari adds, “Amid the cacophony to empower women, that has become a cliché across geographies and communities, I think, the need to simply acknowledge her for who she is and what she stands for has been lost. Kodeeswari will celebrate women for who they are.”

On the film front, Radikaa, who was seen in Sivakarthikeyan’s Mr Local, has multiple projects in the pipeline, including Peranthal Parasakathi, Vaanam Kottatum, Market Raja MBBS and Dhruva Natchathiram.
