‘Saturday Nigh Live’ star Nasim Pedrad is the latest high-profile star to join Fox’s horror comedy ‘Scream Queens’.

‘Glee’ creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan’s anthology programme will be set on a college campus besieged with mysterious murders, reported Deadline.

Pedrad is expected to have a leading role when the series debuts this fall on Fox.

The 33-year-old Iranian-American actress most recently starred in Fox sitcom ‘Mulaney’, and previously was a cast member on ‘Saturday Night Live’ for five years.

‘Scream Queens’ is attracting an all-star cast, including Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Joe Manganiello, Abigail Breslin, Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas.

The first season of the horror series will be comprised of 15 episodes.
