Kavita Kaushik says Bhabhi Ji Ghar Pe writer Manoj Santoshi ‘is in hospital with a crumbling liver’: ‘Praying day and night for a miracle’
Manoj Santoshi is also the writer of shows like Happu Paltan, Jeeja Ji Chhath Par, Madam May I Come In, and a couple of episodes of FIR.

Bhabhi Ji Ghar Pe Hai and Happu Ki Ultan Paltan writer Manoj Santoshi is currently battling a serious liver condition. He is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai.
On Monday, FIR star Kavita Kaushik took to her Instagram handle to share a throwback video of the writer, where he could be seen singing for his friends. Along with the video, she shared a long caption that read: “You may know him as thw writer of Bhabhi ji ghar par hai, Happu paltan, jeeja ji chatth par , Madam may i come in , last few episodes of f.i.r , yes boss , and various other comedies…. Today i ask you all to Pray for Manoj Santoshi.. as he is in the hospital with a crumbling liver.”
She added, “Angels like Binaifer Nakra Kohli and her entire team is fighting to save him, pls pray for this wonderful human, big shout out to the amazing Shilpa Shinde for taking care of him. Let’s all pray for him to revive back , may his pen have ink for several years to come , my the world see more of his creative talent.”
Kavita concluded her post, writing, “May this team not be deprived of their friend, their bundle of creativity and joy , their buddy their partner, I’m sending love to each and every one affected by this and praying day and night for a miracle.”
Soon after Kavita Kaushik shared the post, several of her colleagues flooded the comments section of the post with prayers for the writer.
