With the family week happening on Bigg Boss 17, contestants might have an emotional upheaval. Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, and Abhishek Kumar will be paid a visit by their moms, while Munawar Faruqui and Mannara Chopra’s sisters will enter the house. Indianexpress.com recently spoke to Mannara’s younger sister Mitali about her journey, the betrayals her elder sister faced on the show, and even the Mannara-Ankita rivalry.

Talking about the rivalry between Ankita and Mannara, Mitali said, “There are certain areas of Ankita where one could see she is insecure. Even recently, when Mannara and Vicky were sharing a brother-sister bond, Ankita’s possessive behaviour could be seen. Ankita always keeps highlighting that Mannara is fake, so when there is an action, there is a reaction too. I feel Ankita is very insecure and possessive, she has a problem with Vicky talking to others.”

Stating how she felt proud about her sister’s journey on the show, Mitali Chopra added, “Mannara’s whole journey has been commendable. I can see her transformed. She stepped into a house, clueless about what would happen next. She never saw Bigg Boss in her whole life, so she wouldn’t know the manipulation that happens inside. The moment she was going in, I was having anxiety attacks. She is very innocent, raw, and straight-forward in life.”

Mitali even commented about Mannara making friendships with the wrong people and then facing a betrayal. She shared, “Mannara is an emotional person. She has invested in relationships out of her pure feelings, and that is why she gets the betrayals. I feel great that she is learning from her lessons. She is being herself and should continue to be that way. The ones she tried to make a bond with and it backfiring on her was very hurtful to see. If she is a person of heart, she will be like that. If she got betrayed, it only gave her more clarity about where she needed to put in her energy.”

Other than Mannara, Mitali expressed how she found Chintu (Samarth Jurel) cute, she even remarked that Vicky Jain is a nice person.
