Two episodes of British science-fiction television programme “Doctor Who” will be screened in approximately 700 theatres across America.
The screening, which will take place on September 15 and 16, includes the two-part season 8 finale (episodes ‘Dark Water’ and ‘Death in Heaven’) in 3D, and a never-before-seen season nine prequel scene (‘The Doctor’s Meditation’), reported Entertainment Weekly.
The special screening will also have an exclusive interview with the stars Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman, moderated by Wil Wheaton, said BBC Worldwide North America. The series had similar events for the show’s 50th anniversary and season 8 premiere in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Tickets will go on sale on July 31 at Fathom Events.
