TV actress Divyanka Tripathi, famous for her role of Ishita Bhalla in the hit show ‘Ye Hai Mohabbatein’, had recently got engaged to co-actor Vivek Dahiya.

The news of their engagement came as a surprise to many. The actress, who is a common household name because of the role she plays on screen, has a huge fan following. Fans have been flooding in congratulatory messages on her social networking page. The show’s producer Ekta Kapoor also congratulated the actors and shared their picture on Instagram. She wrote, “Congratulations my beautiful friend!! Wish u love companionship and a life long friendship in ur life partner! Muuahs n duaaas”. Sharing few moments in the form of a collage on Instagram, Divyanka wrote, “In a phase when every romantic song makes sense… Every Romcom is relatable. In love….and this is #Forever. #Engaged to @vivekdahiya08.”

Vivek, who looked dapper in a navy blue suit, also shared the picture while exchanging rings with his finacee. He wrote, “Hey creepy nerves, BACK OFF! I’ve made my mind. This is it. The couple is extremely happy and in an exclusive conversation with IndianExpress.com, Vivek had earlier said, “Divyanka is extremely happy. We both are extremely happy. We have finally found the one that we were always in search for.”

Divyanka was earlier dating actor Ssharad Malhotra but the two parted ways last year after being together for nine years.
