Dipika Kakar health update: Actor to undergo liver tumor surgery today, husband Shoaib Ibrahim asks fans to pray

He wrote on Instagram last night, “Dippi’s surgery is scheduled to happen tomorrow morning. It’s going to be a long surgery… she needs all your prayers & strength the most … please keep her in your prayers.” Last Wednesday, Dipika and Shoaib appeared together in a vlog where the actress also revealed how scared she was. “Hi guys, I am meeting you all after so many days. Shoaib has updated you all about my health. The tumor has second-stage cancer. The doctor is very confident that it will be completely cured, and we trust him. We are confident and maintaining our strength, of course, even the word cancer in anyone’s life is very scary, for the patient and the family. It affects you mentally, we are just being strong,” she had said.

Dipika had also added, “Everyone gets scared, I was also very scared. I will come out of it strongly. Please do pray for me, us, and also Ruhaan.” The actress made her comeback on TV with Celebrity Masterchef, however, Dipika had to leave the show mid-way due to a shoulder injury. Later, when the actress was on vacation with Shoaib in Kashmir and Delhi, she started getting stomach pain, which was later detected to be a tumor.
