Dipika Kakar gets ‘overwhelmed’ as she brings her baby boy home from NICU: ‘There is a different glow on my face’

Television actors Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim finally welcomed their baby boy home, 20 days after he was born. The couple was blessed with a son on June 21, but the newborn was kept in NICU. Shoiab shared on his vlog how happy his family was as they welcomed the little one home. His vlog also had Dipika expressing relief she is experiencing after returning home from the hospital.

In the video, Dipika says, “I am very happy. Bohot sukoon hai ki ghar aa gaye hain (There is a lot relief that we are back home). There is a different glow on my face today despite being sleep deprived. Shoaib and I haven’t slept at all.”

The Sasural Simar Ka actor is also overwhelmed with the love her son is being showered with from their family. “As a mother, when you see everybody is so happy. I am overwhelmed with all the emotions after holding strong for so long. Also, he is very lucky as we keep saying that we are blessed for all the blessings and prayers you all have showered on him. As a mother, I can say thank you. All this wouldn’t have been possible without my husband’s support.”

The new parents also said they will be revealing the name of their son soon but they won’t show his face because their elders have told them not to for some time.

The video futher showcased how Shoaib and Dipika were welcomed home when they returned from the hospital. The house was decked up to give the newborn a warm welcome. The new parents also cut a cake which had ‘Boss Baby’ written on it and posed for a family photo.

Dipika and Shoaib met on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka and fell in love. The two tied the knot in 2018 in Shoaib’s hometown. The Bigg Boss 12 winner had previously revealed that she suffered a miscarriage last year.
