Pahalgam Attack Update: Television actors Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim were vacationing in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam with their son Ruhaan, mere hours before a deadly terrorist attack claimed the lives of over a dozen tourists. Shoaib took to social media to assure their fans that they are safe, and had left Kashmir just a few hours before the incident occurred.

Many of Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim‘s fans expressed concerns over their safety following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. After the news of the attack broke, fans took to social media to enquire about their safety, as they had been recently posting pictures from the tourist destination.

Just two days before the terror attack, Dipika had posted a video of herself strolling through Pahalgam. The coupe shared many more photos and videos from the popular destination; some of the visuals also featured Ruhaan. On Tuesday evening, Shoaib took to Instagram to share that they are safe and had left Kashmir. “Hi guys, U all have been concerned for our well-being… Hum sab safe hain theek hain, aaj hi morning me we left Kashmir… (We all are safe, we left Kashmir this morning), and we reached Delhi safely… Thank you for all the concern.. New vlog coming soon,” wrote the actor.

On Tuesday afternoon, a terrorist attack took place near Pahalgam and at least 26 people, mostly civilians, were reportedly gunned down while many others were injured. The incident occurred around 3 pm. Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim tied the knot in 2018, and the couple welcomed their first child, son Ruhan, in 2023.
