Earlier, Devoleena had announced her pregnancy with an adorable post on August 15. She shared pictures from a panchamrit ritual, which is usually observed by pregnant women. The actor tied the knot with her gym trainer Shanawaz Shaikh in December 2022. The two had a court marriage surrounded by their loved ones.

Several celebrities including Rajiv Adatia, Paras V Chhabraa, Arti Singh, Bhavini Purohit, Kajal Pisal, Jayati Bhatia and many others offered best wishes to the Saath Nibhana Saathiya actor. Since Devoleena announced her pregnancy after several rounds of rumours, she has shared photos and videos of her maternity photo shoot, baby shower, and many other heartwarming moments of her special phase, giving fans a special sneak peek.

In an interview with News18 earlier, Devoleena Bhattacharjee had opened up about motherhood and said, “I’m excited about my new journey into motherhood. I’m preparing myself for it, and this birthday feels different and extra special for both me and my husband. The anticipation of what’s to come adds a new layer of joy and meaning to the celebration.” On the professional front, Devoleena was working in Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya, playing the role of Chhati Maiyya, but she had to quit the show due to the pregnancy.
