Dance Deewane 4: Nithin NJ, Gaurav Sharma crowned champions, take home coveted trophy and Rs 20 lakh prize money

The fourth season of the dance reality show Dance Deewane concluded on Saturday, with contestants Nithin NJ and Gaurav Sharma being crowned the winners during the grand finale. They took home the coveted trophy and Rs 20 lakh in prize money, which were handed over to the champions by judges Madhuri Dixit Nene and Suniel Shetty.

While Nithin hailed from Bengaluru, Gaurav belonged to Delhi and they delivered outstanding dance performances throughout the show, eventually claiming the title. Impressed by their stellar performances, judge Madhuri awarded them Rs 101 as shagun multiple times during this season. Dubbing their journey as amazing and interesting, Gaurav shared with ETimes the initial communication barriers they faced — he did not understand Kannada, and Nithin did not speak Hindi. However, the duo managed to communicate through dance. Though the two reportedly auditioned separately, they were paired together later.

Besides Madhuri and Suniel, actor Kartik Aaryan was also present during the grand finale as part of the promotions for his upcoming film Chandu Champion. Aired on Colors TV, the fourth season of Dance Deewane premiered on February 3, 2024, with comedian and TV personality Bharti Singh as the host.
