‘Bigg Boss 9’s Double Whammy: Salman Khan gets a raise, contestants to play in pairs

One may wonder how, as last year he had left the show mid-way. But according to a report published in BollywoodLife.com, Salman agreed to be a part of the show as he got a raise in his salary.

“Salman is being paid double the amount this year, which is what got him to come on board for season 9. Apparently, the makers were hell bent in getting Salman to host this season, keeping in mind his popularity and the TRPs of the show,” the report says.

It’s also being said that the contestants of this season will be in pairs of two. “They could be couples, friends or siblings. If not, the makers may just make a team of two between the participants,” says another report.

Reports also say that several names have been tossed around for the show but Sana Saeed, Rashami Desai, Shivin Narang, etc have already declined to be a part of the show.

Rahul Yadav and Mohit Malhotra, who have been approached for the show, are yet to take a call. Mandana Karimi, ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum 3’ actress is already on board.
