Bigg Boss 18’s evicted contestant Sara Arfeen Khan won’t take legal action against Karanveer Mehra: ‘Don’t want to spoil anyone’s life’
In an exclusive interview, Bigg Boss 18 contestant Sara Ali Khan slams Karanveer Mehra and Avinash Mishra for their behavior towards women.

When actress-turned-mind coach Sara Arfeen Khan entered Bigg Boss 18 with her husband, everyone expected the couple to put up a great show. However, they could not deal with the pressure in the house. After Arfeen’s eviction, Sara survived in the game for almost three months only to be evicted this weekend. In an exclusive interview with SCREEN, Sara Arfeen Khan slammed Avinash Mishra and addressed Karanveer Mehra pushing her.

Calling her journey incredible, yet somewhat turbulent, Sara addressed the tag of being violent and spoke about being called mad and a psychopath on the show. “I never indulged in physical violence, I got aggressive, it is a reality show where losing your cool is pretty normal. People want to see drama, and just showing them love won’t help, if I could add that spicy flavor then what’s wrong? It was my game plan to protect my boundaries. I faced physical violence from Chum Darang and Karanveer Mehra, I bruised my back because of him, but I didn’t retaliate. They called me mad or a psychopath, but no one took a stand for me. I felt targeted by the audience.”
Sara also pointed out how her profession was always dragged on the show during arguments, she explained, “They did use the mind-coach card every time, it was pre-decided. They were threatened by the fact that we were mind coaches so they started targeting us. Avinash has hit us below the belt many times about our profession, he was the one who set a narrative and later Karanveer used it. But we are also humans, who says we cannot have an emotional meltdown? I would lose my cool, but then I would come back, but why was it looked upon like I was crazy when I was just setting my boundary? At least I didn’t use foul language, you think, I got scared of Karanveer after he pushed me, I could have given him one punch in the wrong place and he would have been finished, but I didn’t do that. I have gotten so many hate messages from the audience, yet I am standing strong here.”

During a recent task, when Karanveer Mehra pinned her on the floor after she tried to push Chum Darang, Sara got very upset. She even demanded a public apology and threatened Karanveer with legal action. When asked if she would act upon her legal action threat, she said, “No, I will not proceed with a legal action, I realized it was a game and I don’t want to spoil anybody’s life over this. This is what mind coaches do. His actions contradicted all his claims, the ones who keep claiming always that they respect women are the most toxic. If Karanveer knew how to talk to women and behave with them, why did he get divorced twice? How has he earned the right to talk about respect for women when he has none?”
Sara also went on to call Shilpa Shirodkar manipulative. “I have seen that side of her more than once. She is using Vivian and Karanveer as a ladder to go ahead in the game.” Now that her journey on Bigg Boss 18 has ended, Sara plans to work on the OTT space, in films, and also conduct lots of women’s seminars.
