Actor Digvijay Rathee, who entered Bigg Boss 18 as a wildcard contestant, was recently evicted from the Salman Khan-hosted show. Before Bigg Boss, Digvijay participated in Roadies and Splitsvilla. He proved to be a strong contender in the game, which is perhaps why his fellow contestants eliminated him from the show.

The contestants were given a nomination task, and the elimination was announced as a twist. Shrutika Arjun had to choose the bottom six and from that list, the housemates had to choose the one person they wanted to evict. Digvijay had been on everyone’s radar; he was often seen locking horns with other contestants. During his stint on the show, Digvijay got into a physical fight with Avinash Mishra. He also had quite a nasty altercation with Rajat Dalal a few weeks back.

When Digvijay Rathee entered Bigg Boss 18, he had vowed to topple Vivian D’sena. Earlier, in a conversation with SCREEN, he had said, “A few contestants have a superiority complex, they are being treated as superiors by others too which is wrong, all are on the same platform. They must have done some great work, but on this show all are equal. Vivian also being the ‘laadla’ is not doing anything, some people are not even seen, I wonder why they accepted the Bigg Boss offer also.”

Claiming that he was in it to win it, Digvijay had said, “I am the strongest competition to all of them.” This is the third time Digvijay has faced defeat in a reality show. On Roadies, Digvijay was voted out by his fellow contestants, and in Spiltsvilla, his partner ditched him during the grand finale.
