When actor Avinash Mishra walked on to the Bigg Boss 18 stage at the grand premiere, he cast a good impression. The young actor came across as someone sensible and he certainly appeared to be a strong contestant. However, from the second day of the show, Avinash started to show attitude problems and got into arguments with several contestants. Unfortunately, things escalated on Wednesday night when Avinash physically attacked Chum Darang during an argument. In an exclusive interview with Indianexpress.com, the actor reacted to his strong personality and also spoke about comparisons with Bigg Boss 17 contestant Abhishek Kumar.

One common thing between Avinash and Abhishek is that both were evicted on grounds of physical violence. Last year, Abhishek slapped contestant Samarth Jurel, and last night, Avinash twisted Chum’s finger during a fight. Talking about these comparisons to Abhishek, Avinash shared, “It is human psychology. People do compare, but everyone on this planet is different. They have their thoughts. People will see a very different personality. Next year, people will compare me with someone else who will be on the show. People have not seen the real Avinash. They will see how I react and I am sure it will have a positive impact.”

Before entering the show, Avinash Mishra had also shared why he chose to participate in Bigg Boss 18. “I believe a lot in destiny. I have done a lot of fiction shows. I was about to do another one, but then I got a call from Bigg Boss. I have been approached several times over the last 3 years, but I couldn’t do it because it was not possible to leave the show. I believe sometimes we need to get out of our comfort zone to know where our core strength lies. This was on my list.”

Talking about being mentally strong for a show like Bigg Boss 18, Avinash said, “When we talk about mental strength, it all depends on the situation and how you react that time. What also matters is how much you are involved in that situation. My reactions come out accordingly. It is difficult to predict what triggers you. There are good days and bad days. On a bad day, you might get triggered by the stupidest of things. It depends on the person and their vibe. I try to be as calm as I can.”

As per a new promo, even though it is shown that Avinash Mishra is evicted, the actor is seen in jail as per the live feed and is very much still a part of the show.
