Shilpa Sinde is a popular TV actor.

Television actor Shilpa Shinde became a household name after her role of Angoori Bhabhi in the popular sitcom, Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai. Her punch line, “Sahi Pakde Hain” and her easy breezy character came as a big relief for the television viewers. But after being a part of the show for almost one year, Shilpa left it which created a hullabaloo among her fans. Following her exit, we saw some mud slinging between the channel heads and Shilpa. The actor claimed that the makers of the show tortured her ‘mentally’ and asked her to sign a contract after which she could not be a part of any other show on any channel.

However, the channel had a different tale to tell. The production house of the show claimed that Shilpa threw tantrums on the sets of the show and even demanded a pay hike. The next year, in March 2017, Shilpa filed a case against Sushant Singh, the chairman of CINTAA alleging of harming her reputation in the industry. Her accusations received an equal amount of support and criticism. While her many fans came out to speak for the actor, her co-actor Saumya Tandon called her behaviour ‘childish’.

Shilpa recently was in the news for her item number, “Maro Line” in Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi which stars Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal. She was trolled for being ‘too fat’.

Apart from Babiji Ghar Par Hain, Shilpa has acted in TV shows like Sanjeevani, Bhabhi, Maayka, and Chidiya Ghar among others.

Her feud with the makers of Babiji Ghar Par Hai caught the attention of many and became a topic of discussion among the television viewers.
