Bandgee Kalra took to social media to announce her breakup with Puneesh Sharma. She said they have mutually decided to part ways after dating each other for five years.

Bigg Boss 11 contestants Bandgee Kalra and Puneesh Sharma, who fell in love during the show, have parted ways after dating each other for five years.

Taking to social media to announce the decision, Bandgee wrote: “Puneesh and I have parted ways, after a mutual decision. The time we shared will always be cherished. There is only love and support for each other in whatever we decide to do in life. I would request you to please respect our privacy and don’t speculate things.”

Bandgee also turned off comments on her Instagram post.

Puneesh, on the other hand, informed his fans about the decision by sharing Bandgee’s post as his Instagram story, without issuing any additional statement.

Meanwhile, Puneesh spoke to ETimes after the news about their breakup surfaced. During the interview, he said that there is no “no specific reason” for their breakup. The two have just realised that their “long-distance relationship will not work”.

Bandgee aspires to build her career in the entertainment business and does not want to move away from Mumbai. Puneesh lives in Delhi with his parents. “It is not possible for me to be stationed in Mumbai,” he said.

Puneesh also told the publication that the decision to go their separate ways is “mutual” and “there is no animosity” between them.

Bigg Boss 11, hosted by Salman Khan, had Puneesh as a finalist and he ended up in fourth place. Shilpa Shinde won the show.
