Balika Vadhu actress Avika Gor marries Milind Chandwani on national TV: See first photos

Milind arrived to wed Avika on a scooter and was also dancing in excitement as he geared up to take the plunge. Avika was a traditional Indian bride, dressed in a deep red and gold lehenga and heavy emerald jewellery. The groom was dressed in a peach and gold sherwani and turban. The couple was seen dancing as they posed for photos for paps after the wedding.

Avika and Milind’s haldi and mehendi ceremony also took place on the sets of the show. Ahead of the wedding, the couple was spotted at Siddhivinayak temple. Before participating in Pati, Patni, Aur Panga, Avika and Milind had gotten engaged in the presence of close family and friends.

In an earlier interview, Avika had spoken about her love story with SCREEN and said that Milind had friend-zoned her after they met for the first time. Avika had also reflected upon maintaining a long-distance relationship with her engineer boyfriend, Milind Chandwani. She had shared that people said having a long-distance relationship was not a practical idea, but they managed it quite effortlessly.

Earlier, talking about their wedding on the show, Avika had said, “We are excited but also very nervous. The big day will come very soon.” The actress had also told Hindustan Times, “There are days when I wake up and remind myself that it’s real. I feel very lucky and blessed to have found a partner who supports me, understands me, and always pushes me to grow in life. I’ve been in the public eye since 2008, and the love and blessings I’ve received from people have been overwhelming. I wanted my audience, who have been such an important part of my journey, to also be a part of this special moment, and in some way, I manifested this.”
